Enrollment Checklist for Adult Learners
Submit an application for admission at wichita.edu/apply and pay the
$40 non-refundable application fee. All transcripts should be sent directly to the
Office of Admissions.
- For 24 or more transfer hours, have each institution you've attended send a transcript.
- For less than 24 transfer hours, have each institution send a transcript and have your final high school transcript or GED score sent.
- For no transfer hours, have your final high school transcript or GED score
If you've taken classes at WSU, simply reactivate your file at
wichita.edu/reactivation.
Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov and use

year. If you need assistance filling out the application, make an appointment with

Be sure to apply for scholarships within your academic college (e.g. Business, Liberal
Arts & Sciences, Engineering) by visiting their websites. Also, check out wichita.edu/additionalscholarships for information about scholarship opportunities.
Visit wichita.edu/osher to apply for the WSU-specific returning adult scholarship (avaliable for full and
part颅time students).
Find an advisor from the list below and set up an appointment to enroll in classes.
Create an academic plan and get hands-on, personal guidance to help you meet all of
your academic goals.
Enrollment is done on line; however, your advisor can walk you through the process
step-by-step.
